Events, today and the annual calendar in City Park Fürth
The City Park Fürth is described in the official calendar as a stage for summer culture, open encounters, and family offerings. Regular concerts, theater, and film evenings take place at the open-air stage; the city mentions, among other things, FÜ-JAZZ concerts, the City Park brunch, the summer night film festival, and the Classic Open Air. For summer 2026, the city calendar lists the City Park brunch on July 19, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as other concerts at the open-air stage. Those looking for today or the next date should therefore check the official event calendar, as the City Park thrives on changing programs rather than a rigid daily schedule. This is exactly what makes the search queries City Park Fürth today and City Park Fürth events so relevant: It is not just about a park, but about a place that is seasonally activated again and again and understood by the city as a public cultural space. ([fuerth.de](https://www.fuerth.de/kultur-freizeit/veranstaltungen-termine/veranstaltungskalender/veranstaltungsdetails/stadtparkfruehschoppen-1100-19-07-2026-92703/?utm_source=openai))
The park is particularly strong where it almost functions like an open-air salon: people meet, stay for music, come for picnics, or combine a stroll with a short cultural stop. The open-air stage is located directly in the park and is designed as an amphitheater with open stone steps; behind the stage lies the swan pond. This combination makes the area so attractive in the summer months because it closely brings together culture and landscape. The summer night ball of the Comödie Fürth is also one of the important recurring formats that make the park visible in the search queries around City Park Fürth. Additionally, throughout the year, there are extra formats like plogging, poetry slam walks, or nature-related tours that show that the City Park is not just for looking at but also for participating. For visitors seeking a lively open-air experience, this mix of a tranquil setting and active program is the true promise of the place. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
For those who want to plan their time in the City Park purposefully, the park can be viewed as a small cultural quarter. In summer, it serves as a stage, meeting point, and resting place at the same time; in autumn, the apple market brings the regional theme more to the forefront, while in the winter months, the park takes on a completely different atmosphere due to its open structure and hills. The official tourism site also recommends the City Park as a place for groups, families, and individual guests, explicitly categorizing it as a freely accessible facility. This mix is particularly important for seekers because it does not require admission or long preparation. One can visit the park spontaneously and still encounter a versatile event calendar. This is precisely why there is strong SEO relevance for words like events, today, ball, and plan, because the City Park Fürth is not just a place for a quiet stroll but an urban open-air center with a changing program and high quality of stay. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
Playground, Mini-Golf, and Family Time in the Green
The City Park Fürth is particularly strong for families because play, movement, and relaxation are closely linked. The official tourism entry mentions a large playground that even features a refreshing watercourse in summer and explicitly categorizes the City Park as a place for families, individual guests, and children of all ages. Additionally, admission is free, and the park, with its generous network of paths, is suitable not only for short visits but also for longer afternoons. This is especially important for parents with children: one can not only aim for the park but also experience it spontaneously without needing a ticket or reservation. The park's suitability for strollers is also explicitly mentioned, which is a very strong indicator for the search query City Park Fürth playground. The park thus functions as a low-threshold recreational place where one can simply arrive, start walking, and not have to constantly reorganize their children. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
Right next to it, the mini-golf facility complements the offering sensibly. The area is located at the City Park pond, between the playground and the sunbathing lawn, and is surrounded by old trees and a dahlia garden. According to the operator, it is weather-dependent; Monday and Tuesday are closed, Wednesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The prices are 4 euros for children aged 6 to 16 and 5 euros for adults. A kiosk and a café are also included, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. This mix of leisure, nature, and uncomplicated use makes the search query City Park Fürth mini-golf so strong. Families can combine the classic park visit with a small sports activity without leaving the area or having to cover additional distances. The result is an excursion destination that works well not only in nice weather but also for short spontaneous time windows. ([minigolf-im-stadtpark.de](https://www.minigolf-im-stadtpark.de/))
For the perception of the City Park as a family destination, it is also important that it does not just have a single attraction but bundles several offerings in direct proximity. Between the playground, the mini-golf facility, the café, and the meadows, a natural daily routine emerges: first arriving, then playing, followed by a break, and finally a short walk along the well-maintained paths. This is exactly the kind of usage logic that families seek in everyday life. Those traveling with younger children do not need complex infrastructure but a place where they can move freely, sit, eat, and leave again. The City Park Fürth delivers exactly that. Thus, a simple search term like City Park Fürth restaurant or City Park Fürth bakery quickly turns into a family outing with real added value because the park offers all components within walking distance and keeps its atmosphere deliberately calm, open, and generous. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
Access, Parking, and the Plan for City Park Fürth
Accessing the City Park Fürth is pleasantly uncomplicated. The official tourism entry names the location Nürnberger Straße 15 in 90762 Fürth and recommends arriving by public transport towards Fürth main station; from there, it is about a ten-minute walk. The open-air stage is additionally listed under Engelhardtstraße 20, and the barrier-free toilet of the City Park is noted at Engelhardtstraße 22. For visitors, this means: The park is very central and is well-suited as a destination for short walks, city strolls, and family outings. Therefore, those looking for a plan for City Park Fürth do not receive complicated orientation but a very clear indication of the location between the train station, Engelhardtstraße, and Nürnberger Straße. This good accessibility makes the park attractive for guests who have little time but still want to plan a visit to the green. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
For the search interest around parking, it is important to note what the official pages do not mention: They do not name a dedicated parking garage or an exclusive parking space directly at the park. Instead, the emphasis is on arriving by train, bus, and foot. Therefore, those coming by car should keep an eye on the general city center and resident parking regulations of the city of Fürth, as there are limited parking options for residents, especially in the city center. This does not make the City Park hard to reach, but it clearly shifts the practical recommendation towards public transport and short walks. For planning, this is even helpful because one can allocate their stay more relaxed and does not have to look for a specific parking space first. For most visitors, the best way is therefore: arrive, get out, walk ten minutes, and stand directly in the green. Thus, the search query City Park Fürth parking primarily becomes a question of clever arrival rather than parking space search. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
The advantage of this location also becomes apparent with larger combinations: Those who want to combine the City Park with the city center, train station, theater, or a café visit can do so very easily. The City Park is so close to the center that it almost functions as a natural transition between urban everyday life and relaxation. This is exactly why it is described by the tourist information as a green oasis that is easily accessible by public transport. The open-air stage is also not isolated but embedded in the surrounding urban fabric. This is a real plus for visitors because one can remain flexible depending on their daily plan. So if today one plans a short walk, tomorrow a concert, and the day after a family afternoon, they will find in City Park Fürth a place that adapts to different needs. This flexible use is a central reason why the City Park is so frequently searched and used so differently. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
City Park Café, Bakery, and Enjoyment between Meadow and Terrace
The City Park Café is a standalone attraction in the park and much more than just a drinking break. The official website states that food and drinks are prepared fresh daily, organic food is a matter of the heart, and a small artisanal baking studio can be found on the premises. The opening hours are listed as Monday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. So if you are looking for a café, restaurant feel, or a bakery in the City Park, you have come to the right place: The place combines nature, a view into the green, and artisanal enjoyment. For the search queries City Park Fürth café and City Park Fürth bakery, this is particularly relevant because the café not only provides gastronomic supplies but also has its own profile. It is thus a classic destination for people who do not just want to pass through the park but consciously want to stay there. ([stadtparkcafe.de](https://www.stadtparkcafe.de/))
From an SEO perspective, this point is also strong because many visitors experience a park not just for walking or looking but as a place to stay with coffee, cake, or small dishes. The City Park Café caters to exactly that: freshly baked breads and pastries, organic quality, and an ambiance that consciously contributes to the calm park atmosphere. The tourist information describes the café as legendary and emphasizes that the view of the park can be particularly enjoyed on the terrace or the adjacent meadows with a cool drink. This is important because here the word restaurant does not become a classic restaurant in the strict sense but a park café with a bakery that offers many visitors exactly the right mix of lightness and quality. This explains why the search queries City Park Fürth restaurant and City Park Fürth café are closely related, even though the place functionally is more a café with a special culinary claim. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
The enjoyment factor is also closely linked to the park's use itself. Those traveling with children can stop by after visiting the playground; those who get tired while walking will find a quiet place to sit; and those who want to eat something before an event at the open-air stage have a nearby point of contact with the café. This multifunctionality makes the City Park Fürth so valuable. It is not a place where one just passes through but a place where one can choose their own pace. The café reinforces this character because it extends the park visit and rounds it off with a small culinary break. In the combination of fresh offerings, organic orientation, baking studio, and nature view, a strong part of the identity of this place is therefore embedded. For people looking for a quiet, beautiful, and reliable dining option, the City Park is also a very convincing destination gastronomically. ([stadtparkcafe.de](https://www.stadtparkcafe.de/))
Toilet, Accessibility, and Practical Information on Site
Practical infrastructure is a major plus point of the City Park. The city of Fürth lists a barrier-free public toilet at Engelhardtstraße 22; the tourism entry additionally mentions a WC facility and a toilet for free public use. For longer stays, families with children, or visitors who want to experience the park for several hours, this is an important comfort factor. Especially at open-air events or an afternoon between the playground and café, reliable WC infrastructure makes a difference. Therefore, those searching for City Park Fürth toilet usually want to know not only if there is a WC somewhere but whether the stay is possible without detours. The answer is: yes, and in a form that is meaningful for both normal visits and public events. The fact that the toilet is located in close proximity to the open-air stage makes the paths in everyday life and at events particularly short. ([fuerth.de](https://www.fuerth.de/bildung-soziales/menschen-mit-behinderung/barrierefreie-toiletten/toilette-stadtpark/?utm_source=openai))
The good news is that the park itself clearly presents itself as family-friendly. The official entry categorizes it for families, individual guests, and children of all ages, and the facilities with playgrounds, open spaces, and free toilets fit perfectly. For people with strollers or visitors who do not want to search long for infrastructure, this is a clear plus. Low-barrier use also plays a role, as the park is described as a destination that is well-suited for relaxed visits and short distances. Not every question needs to be answered with a complex service offering here; often the combination of free admission, seating options, WC, gastronomy, and open paths is sufficient. This simplicity makes the City Park so accessible and popular. Those planning a visit can therefore easily structure the day: arrival, stroll, playground or café, possibly an event, and then back to the train station or into the city center. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
Even in daily use, this practical aspect is important because the City Park is not only intended for sunny days or major events. It functions as an everyday recreational space where families are just as naturally present as strollers, runners, photography enthusiasts, or cultural audiences. This is precisely why small details like toilets, good accessibility, and clear addresses are not secondary but part of user-friendliness. Those who judge the park only by a green impression underestimate its everyday quality. In reality, the City Park Fürth is a well-organized, well-connected, and easily understandable place that takes into account various age groups. The official classification as a freely accessible facility with WC, playground, and good proximity to the train is therefore not just a service note but an essential part of its success. Thus, a simple green area becomes a reliably usable urban space that feels very uncomplicated even during spontaneous visits. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
History, Rose Garden, Fountain Courtyard, and Nature Experience
The history of the City Park is one of the main reasons why this place is more than just a green space. The city of Fürth describes it as a park with a long historical tradition: as early as 1867, the first plantings were initiated on the steep slopes to the Pegnitz, in 1910 the former abandoned cemetery at the Resurrection Church was included, in 1951 Hans Schiller redesigned the area for the first Bavarian garden show Green and Bloom, and in 1965 the park was expanded into the floodplain after the filling of a branch of the Pegnitz. Thus, the City Park is an example of urban history, landscape design, and a space for remembrance at the same time. Therefore, those who visit the facility today are not only moving through a beautiful park but through a developed urban structure where past and present lie directly next to each other. ([fuerth.de](https://www.fuerth.de/fileadmin/redaktion/02-Bauen-Mobilitaet/02-Dokumente-Allgemein/Flaechennutzungsplan-Aenderungen-und-Berichtigungen/FNP_2006_Erlaeuterungsbericht.pdf))
Its special motifs are still clearly visible today. The rose garden, the fountain courtyard between the Resurrection Church and the City Park Café, the Hans-Schiller-Allee, the municipal school garden, and the sea of flowers around the church are among the motifs that visitors perceive particularly strongly. Nature enthusiasts can find ducks, herons, and with a bit of luck even rabbits along the Pegnitz; those who look closely will discover the insectarium or follow the tree learning path. The city of Fürth does not name the City Park coincidentally as a green oasis and as the secret love of the Fürth residents. For photo motifs, quiet walks, and short breaks, it is just as strong as for events or family time. The combination of water play, flowers, old trees, and flat meadows makes the place so versatile. This also explains why City Park Fürth photos is such an obvious search query: The park provides real image motifs instead of just decorative backdrops. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))
Therefore, those planning a visit should take time for the details. The City Park does not only impress through grand gestures but especially through the small transitions: from the Resurrection Church to the fountain courtyard, from the café to the meadow, from the rose garden to the playground, from the open-air stage to the quiet shore area. These paths are what make the park so pleasant because one does not have to constantly jump from one highlight to the next. One can simply walk, stop, look, and continue. In spring, the color play of the showcase plantings dominates, in summer music and water set the tone, in autumn the apple market and the golden trees attract, and in winter the hills become a quieter landscape with its own mood. Therefore, if one is only looking for a brief impression, they will get a beautiful park. If one stays longer, they will discover a piece of Fürth identity that tells itself anew with each season.
City Park Fürth | Events & Playground
The City Park Fürth is one of the most well-known green oases of the Cloverleaf City and combines garden art, relaxation, and family time in a particularly charming way. On the grounds of the former cemetery at the Resurrection Church, a garden monument developed in 1951 for the garden show Green and Bloom, which still serves as a lively meeting point today. Those who stroll here will find not only wide paths and well-maintained facilities but also flower beds, meadows, water, history, and short distances to cafes, playgrounds, mini-golf, and open-air stages. Admission is free, and with the main train station nearby, the park is easily accessible for both locals and guests. For many search queries related to City Park Fürth today, City Park Fürth plan, City Park Fürth photos, or City Park Fürth events, the place is therefore much more than just a green spot in the city; it is a versatile excursion destination with real recognition value. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/poi/stadtpark))

It's actually my favorite place in the beautiful city of Fürth. Super relaxing and the gardener's work that is on display year in and year out is like a piece of art. A great place for families and spending summer days there. A delicious cafe, called Stadtparkcafé is also in the perimeter of the park.

It is quite a beautiful park with a mixture of wild and cared for areas. There is a cafe and a minigolf course where you can purchase coffee and ice cream as well. It looks very clean and you are sure to have a nice time walking, sunbathing or just relaxing there.

Amazing place to spend your day out. It's a huge area and definitely doesn't look like a park. On a bright day you can see many people lying around soaking the sun. There is a big play area for kids with swings, slides etc. A long track goes along the park for jogging, walking and cycling.
