Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nuremberg | Parking & Spa

Those looking for a stylish city address near Nuremberg Central Station with relaxed arrival, secure parking, and genuine comfort infrastructure will find a compelling combination at the Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nuremberg. The hotel is located at Eilgutstraße 15, just a few steps from the west exit of the main train station, and combines the short distances of the city center with a quiet, comfort-oriented interior. Seven flexible rooms are available for organizers, and the in-house rooftop wellness area provides relaxation with an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, and sun terrace. The underground garage in the building, electric charging stations, and quick public transport connections make logistics easy to plan. From breakfast to evening events, from confidential board meetings to festive banquets: the clearly structured infrastructure of the hotel meets the typical needs of business and leisure travelers as well as the requirements of professional event planning.

Directions and Parking at Sheraton Carlton Nuremberg

The location at the central station junction is a clear advantage for those who want to arrive comfortably and without detours. From Nuremberg Airport, you can reach the main train station directly via the U2 in about fifteen minutes; from the west exit, it is only about a three-minute walk to Eilgutstraße 15. If arriving by car, follow the regional highways A3, A6, A9, or A73 and then the signs towards the city center and main train station. Just before the train station area, turn off and after a few hundred meters reach Eilgutstraße, where the hotel has a clear address and its own access to the underground garage. For vehicle accommodation, the in-house garage is available, typically planned with a daily flat rate of around 25 euros. Those who appreciate comfort can use valet parking, usually also at a daily rate of 25 euros. For guests with electric vehicles, a charging station is designated at the hotel, allowing for long working days or wellness visits without additional route planning. When the garage is heavily occupied, the nearby theater parking garage is available as an alternative option. The combination of the underground garage in the building, alternative parking options in the immediate vicinity, and the dense public transport connections allows for reliable scheduling of arrivals and departures, even with tight schedules, trade fair operations, or evening appointments in the old town. Those who prefer to explore the city without a car benefit from the central location: tram and subway lines branch out from the main train station in all directions, and many attractions, restaurants, and the exhibition grounds are quickly accessible. This ensures mobility on-site as well as the safe accommodation of the vehicle in the hotel.

Carlton Spa: Rooftop Wellness with Pool, Sauna, and View

Relaxing above the rooftops of Nuremberg is one of the special qualities of this hotel. The Carlton Spa is directly integrated into the hotel and extends over two levels: treatments and cosmetics are located on the eighth floor, while the wellness area with pool, sauna, steam bath, relaxation room, and sun terrace is one floor above. The opening hours are generous, and the spa is usually accessible daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; the indoor pool is generally available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This range makes it easy to integrate training and relaxation into the daily routine, whether before the first appointment or as a wind-down after a long meeting day. In practice, the spa impresses with clearly structured zones: those who love heat can alternate between the sauna and steam bath, enjoy a cooling dip in the pool, and let their gaze wander over the city in the relaxation room or on the rooftop terrace. For active guests, there is a fitness area with modern cardio and strength equipment. Treatments range from classic facials to anti-aging treatments, massages, and special programs for special occasions. Day tickets are transparently listed, such as a 3-hour ticket and a day ticket, allowing local guests and conference participants to plan flexibly. Conveniently, food service is available at the pool: snacks and drinks can be delivered directly to the wellness area upon request, ensuring no time is lost between treatments, relaxation, and light refreshments. Especially in combination with an event at the hotel, the spa serves as an effective relaxation zone, bringing teams together after workshops or providing guests with a quiet retreat in the midst of the city center.

Conference and Event Rooms: Capacities, Layouts, and Technology

For meetings, training sessions, product presentations, or private celebrations, the Sheraton Carlton offers a clearly structured space offering. A total of seven rooms with approximately 716 square meters of event space are available. The centerpiece is the Burggrafensaal, which, at about 276 square meters, is the largest room and can be used flexibly depending on the setup: in theater seating, up to 287 people can be accommodated, for classroom about 200, for banquets about 180, and for receptions, around 200 guests can be planned. The portfolio is complemented by the library, suitable for breakouts, press talks, or elegant dinners; the Orangerie with about 152 square meters for medium-sized workshops; the Garden Court, Eremitage, and Chesa for seminars, board meetings, and group work, as well as a small internet office. These rooms can be used individually or in combination, allowing the agenda, number of participants, and dramaturgy of the event to be coordinated. Thanks to the central location, accessibility by train and plane is as much an argument as the short distance to nearby hotels when additional bed capacities are needed. Technically, the rooms are designed for business requirements, with typical setups for projection, sound, and hybrid formats that can be tailored to the respective needs in cooperation with the hotel. Culinary options for coffee breaks, lunch, or set dinners can be organized through the hotel, for example, in the Tafelhof restaurant or as a banquet directly in the hall. For weddings and private celebrations, particularly the Burggrafensaal, library, and Orangerie are suitable; the range typically lies between about 50 and 180 guests, depending on the desired setting. In total, the event floor offers a robust mix of size, flexibility, and city center location, making it suitable for regional meetings as well as for international teams choosing Nuremberg as a well-connected meeting point.

Rooms, Dining, and Services for a Smooth Stay

The Sheraton Carlton positions itself as a comfort-oriented city hotel with a classic-elegant touch. The rooms offer the essential standards for business and leisure travel, including Wi-Fi and typical services such as daily cleaning, laundry on demand, or mobile key depending on the booking method. Check-in is usually possible from 3 p.m., and check-out is until 12 p.m. For early arrivals or late check-outs, prior coordination is recommended, as corresponding options depend heavily on occupancy. Culinary offerings include the Tafelhof restaurant as a central point of contact, complemented by bar and room service options at defined times. A breakfast buffet is available for an additional charge and is appreciated for flexible morning routines, whether for early departures or a leisurely start to the day. Guests with four paws also do not leave empty-handed: pets are welcome, with clear regulations regarding number, weight, and fees; bowls and basic utensils are organized if needed. Those wishing to train during their stay can use the in-house fitness area. For families with children, the short distances to the old town, museums, or seasonal highlights such as the Christkindlesmarkt are a plus. Thanks to the quiet rooms and well-insulated windows, a restful sleep is realistic despite the city location, especially in rooms facing the quieter sides. For work in the room, typical desk solutions are available, and the event floor allows for spontaneous breakout meetings outside the room. In summary, the service concept is focused on reliability: short distances, planable services, clear contacts, and an infrastructure that efficiently supports both individual travelers and groups.

Prices and Booking: Transparent Explanation of Parking Rates, Breakfast, Spa Tickets

Price transparency aids in planning, so some key points are helpful. For parking in the in-house underground garage, a daily rate of 25 euros usually applies; valet parking is also listed at 25 euros per day. Additionally, a charging station for electric vehicles is available, and its use and availability should be inquired about in advance. For the breakfast buffet, you typically calculate an additional charge of about 25 euros per person; alternatively, coffee breaks or business lunches can be individually arranged as part of conferences. The Carlton Spa offers flexible tickets, including a 3-hour ticket and a day ticket. Treatments such as massages, facials, and special programs are charged separately and can be booked daily between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., upon request outside of these times exclusively for hotel guests. For organizers, it is worthwhile to look at room packages, seating arrangements, and technology packages; capacities go up to 287 people in the largest hall. Those working with bonus programs benefit from booking through the hotel chain with points under a common loyalty program, which is particularly attractive for recurring meetings. Cancellation deadlines, payment modalities, and AV contracts should be coordinated with the team in advance to ensure smooth setups and breakdowns, delivery windows, or special stage and lighting requirements. For individual offers, direct contact with the event department is recommended; here, date, number of participants, agenda, catering, and technology are bundled into a coherent package. This allows for reliable budget calculations and meaningful coordination of reservations for room contingents, parking spaces, and spa use.

Photos, Reviews, and Contact: Gather Impressions and Reach the Team

Current impressions help in decision-making. Image material for the Sheraton Carlton is available on the official hotel and spa website as well as on common booking and review portals. Typical motifs show the event spaces around the Burggrafensaal, the library as an elegant room for smaller groups, the pool and sauna area with a view over the city, as well as rooms with calm color tones, some with balcony options. Experience reports repeatedly highlight the proximity to the main train station, the convenient accessibility by subway from the airport, the well-insulated windows, and the professional staff. For detailed questions, direct contact is the quickest solution: general inquiries go through the hotel's central email, while the spa team uses a separate address. Those planning an event should have the key data ready in the first contact so that the team can prepare the appropriate room combination, technology, and catering suggestions. For short-term appointments, it is worth checking availability during the week as well as seasonal demands, such as around trade fair dates or the Christkindlesmarkt. Those arriving by car can use the access via Eilgutstraße and, when heavily occupied, fall back on nearby parking garages. With this information in hand, decision-making can proceed quickly: location, parking, spa, event spaces, and contact paths are clear, and the next steps are scheduling and tailored offers.

First off: This was my first visit to a 5-star hotel. The location by the train station is great. Instead of paying €25 per night for parking, we were able to park our car for free at Fischbach train station P+R and took the S-Bahn for a comfortable 10-minute ride to the main station. The journey was so much more relaxed, and in the city, everything is reachable either by foot or public transport. The reception was rather cold, you had to carry your own luggage to the room (not even a question was asked), and we didn’t get any room orientation. The vibe of the hotel feels rather old-fashioned, but unfortunately not chic - rather shabby and dilapidated upon closer inspection. We were missing sandals for the sauna area (the main reason we booked this hotel). The room temperature was overall quite cool for this time of year despite the air conditioning/heating. Wellness area: The saunas are really nice. There’s a 60 and a 90-degree sauna, as well as a pool and steam bath. The shower areas and steam bath were hygienically miserable and smelled bad. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem inviting - unlike the two saunas. But we were almost always alone in the sauna during our 2 days. There didn’t seem to be many sauna-goers despite the Christmas market and the hotel being quite well-visited. The furnishings are run-down, the shower tray had black mold, and there were generally few to no contacts available. In the entire "wellness area," we never encountered anyone during our 5 visits. Neither cleaning staff nor at the reception. What we liked: - Clean bed linens - Cozy pillows and blankets - The two saunas - Well-insulated windows (loud noise in the early morning with the window open) We would choose a different hotel on our next visit to Nuremberg and were very disappointed for the advertised 5 stars.

We spent one day and one night at the Sheraton Carlton Nuremberg and were overall very satisfied. At our request, we received a room with a balcony at no extra charge – a really nice gesture. The room was spotless and comfortable, though it had a classic and somewhat traditional decor that fits well with the elegant character of the hotel. The exceptionally attentive staff deserves special mention, as they were always responsive to our needs. The spa area was also quiet, well-maintained, and provided exactly the relaxation we were looking for. A very pleasant stay.

The location is good, the rooms are large, and the staff is eager to help. Today, I was woken up by the cleaning lady banging loudly at 8:00 AM. She wanted to clean the room. The underground parking is incredibly tight, and bookings were not consolidated. After 2 out of 3 nights, the card was blocked. No apology. The rooms are dirty (e.g., cobwebs in the corners, dirty floors, bathroom completely moldy, surfaces in the main room not cleaned. Quite terrible, really. 5 stars? I can’t believe it.

For so many years at this location, timeless elegance with grandeur. Wonderful friendly staff always attentive and present for the guests! What a feat. The breakfast has everything you could wish for, except for regional sausages from the local butcher. But that’s a tiny criticism. This combination of people, building, and quality is rare nowadays, and it’s all the more refreshing for me as a guest. Thank you!

Nice room, comfortable bed, clean and well-equipped bathroom. The spa offerings are very extensive. The pool and sauna are very nice. The breakfast is excellent, and the service is outstanding.
