The city forestry office is located at Heilstättenstraße 130; the two-winged sandstone building is a listed historical monument. Next to it are a bus stop and a parking area for hikers seeking recreation. Not far from the city forestry office is a wild boar enclosure. The red deer enclosure, which opened in 2018, is about a 30-minute walk away. Hikers are rewarded with a beautiful view of the Rangau region.
