The maximum capacity reaches up to 200 participants depending on the seating arrangement, making the rooms suitable for compact presentations as well as larger plenary formats, banquets, or breakout sessions. The event team assists with planning – from room selection to technology to catering – and organizes break snacks with light lunches upon request, tailored for focused work. In addition to standard technology such as flip charts and moderation materials, projection solutions are available; participants also use the Wi-Fi. Due to the city center location, events benefit from short distances: Attendees can reach the venue by subway, train, or car without detours, while hotel suites and rooms in the same building simplify the process for speakers and external guests. For presentations or hybrid formats, the in-house equipment can be supplemented with external technology. If multiple rooms are needed simultaneously, the spaces can be combined, for example, planning a plenary session plus two workshop rooms in parallel. The courtyard is suitable for a quick fresh air break, and in the evening, the Bar & Brasserie NitriBizz provides an appropriate setting for networking. Due to seasonally fluctuating demand – such as during trade fairs and congress times – it is advisable to make an early inquiry with the date and desired setup to optimally coordinate rooms, room contingents, and catering options. With up to 200 seats, direct public transport access, and the hotel’s underground garage, the location is a convincing choice for events in the heart of Nuremberg.
Reviews, Photos, and Useful Contact Information
For travel decisions, impressions from other guests play a significant role. Online reviews highlight the central location, the size and cleanliness of the rooms, and the friendliness of the team. Frequently mentioned are the convenient access to the subway, solid conference equipment, and practical parking comfort with the option for E-charging. Critical notes sometimes concern price-performance issues such as parking fees or personal preferences regarding room furnishings. Those who want to get an impression can find current photos of rooms, lobby, fitness area, St. Jakob restaurant, and Bar & Brasserie NitriBizz on the hotel group's pages and popular booking portals. For inquiries and individual wishes – such as room location, allergy-friendly bedding, accessible features, or group bookings – direct contact with the reception is recommended. They can be reached at +49 911 242500; emails can be sent to info@hi-nuernberg.de. For navigation devices and delivery services, the complete address is Engelhardsgasse 12, 90402 Nuremberg. Those arriving early or departing late can use a late check-out or luggage storage, subject to availability. Tip: During high occupancy, such as during large trade fairs, prices throughout the city area are dynamic; early reservation helps secure the desired room and possibly a parking space in the underground garage.

Pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn, but parking fees are too high. I had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn. The hotel is centrally located, and the city center and shopping street are just a five-minute bus ride away. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I particularly liked that tea and coffee were replenished daily. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows ensured a restful sleep. However, what I really didn't like was the price for parking: 20 euros per night is just too much compared to the room rate (about 60 to 70 euros). 15 euros would be understandable, but I find 20 euros excessive. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, so I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Not exactly cheap for the overnight stay, breakfast is also expensive, but right in the city center and there was nothing to complain about! The rustic wooden chairs everywhere are probably part of the concept and are a matter of taste. Do you really need a bathtub in the hotel? A shower with a low entry would be better.

There's a bar in front of the hotel that's busy 24 hours. Our room was on the 5th floor. Despite having the window closed, it was very loud because the bar guests were making noise all night long. The room was very cold. The staff couldn't manage the booking. We had booked 2 nights. At first, they couldn't find us at all, then only for one night. Our complaint about the noise and our point that they should have mentioned it was dismissed with the comment that it wasn't known that you wouldn't hear anything up there and that there was a bar at the door. Somehow a contradiction in their statements. We paid nearly 350 € for 2 sleepless nights. Never again this hotel!

Nicely decorated hotel. Very clean. Tight parking garage for cars. Narrow streets for coaches. Unfortunately, you can hear people yelling outside. Poor sound insulation in the rooms, at least those facing the street. Otherwise, top-notch.

We have now been guests at this hotel for the third time and always enjoy coming back here. The house is very centrally located, just a few steps from the old town pedestrian zone. The breakfast is very nice, with a wide selection. We had a very spacious room for us and our two children, thanks for offering us a larger one just before departure. We found that extremely accommodating and very attentive. A small criticism: unlike their female colleagues, the male staff at the reception were not very friendly. We will be guests again in winter.
