Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben | Opening Hours & Tickets
The Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben is the sport-oriented indoor address at the well-known Fürthermare location and is aimed at everyone who values clarity, structure, and reliable information when swimming. The official city website categorizes the location among the Fürth swimming pools at Scherbsgraben, while the infra site explicitly describes the indoor pool as a facility with swimming pools, teaching pools, and diving options. This combination makes the place interesting for lap swimming, technique training, swimming lessons, and an uncomplicated family visit. Those looking for a location where show and staging are not the focus, but rather clean, practical swimming with well-planned times, will find a very clear answer here. Additionally, there is good accessibility by bus and subway, a parking garage in close proximity, and a ticket and access system that makes the visit planable in advance. The focus is therefore on everyday usability: arrive, check in, swim, and leave again. For those searching for opening hours, tickets, directions, parking, pool information, or photos, this overview consolidates the most important facts in one place. ([fuerth.de](https://www.fuerth.de/Home/Leben-in-Fuerth/Sport-Freizeit/baeder/telefonnummern-der-fuerther-baeder.aspx/1737_read-19220/home/fuerther-rathaus/rathauswegweiser/aemter-a-z/))
Opening Hours of Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben
The opening hours are among the most sought-after information, as the Indoor Pool Fürth is not simply open all day but has clearly defined time slots. According to the official FAQ, the current hours are Monday from 2 PM to 8:30 PM, Tuesday from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 2 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday from 2 PM to 10 PM, Thursday from 2 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Holidays are closed, as are Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. At the same time, the site mentions two important special notes: Easter and Pentecost Sunday are open, and the ticket sales close one hour before closing, while swimming ends 30 minutes before closing. Therefore, anyone planning a spontaneous visit should not only keep an eye on the weekdays but also the last possible entry times. This is especially important if one is looking for a short training window before work in the morning or wants to schedule an early swimming appointment on the weekend. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
For the search intent around “Indoor Pool Fürth Opening Hours,” it is also relevant that the opening hours can change seasonally and situationally. The official opening hours page points out that the indoor pool will be closed during the outdoor pool season in nice weather, and guests can then use the free access to the summer pool. Additionally, changes due to swimming sports events are possible, which is why the notices on site should be explicitly observed. For this reason, it is worth checking the opening hours not just once but briefly before each visit to see if the planned day really fits the current access times. For SEO and visitors, this is a strong search pattern: Those who enter “open today,” “when open,” “Saturday open,” or “Sunday open” do not need a general description but a concrete planning basis. In the case of the indoor pool, this basis is clear: fixed time slots, separate notes for seasonal phases, and a clear distinction between regular indoor pool operations and outdoor pool season. Those who take this into account can plan more relaxed and avoid unnecessary trips. ([fuerthermare.de](https://www.fuerthermare.de/informationen/oeffnungszeiten))
Tickets, Prices, and Value Card at Indoor Pool Fürth
The topic of tickets is also central to the Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben, as access is deliberately organized through a service portal and on-site sales at Fürthermare. The official FAQ explains that one must first register for online ticket purchases; alternatively, tickets can be purchased at Fürthermare. In the new system, there is also the option of guest purchase, where name and email address must be provided, and subsequent access to past purchases is not possible. Payment is made in the service portal via PayPal or credit card, at the cash register in Fürthermare among other options in cash, with a value card, or with EC/credit card. Important for planning: Currently, only single entries are offered, and these are excluded from exchange. This is relevant for visitors who want to plan their swimming time in advance or specifically target the pool for a day visit. The official site also states that tickets are scanned again upon leaving the pool, which further structures the process on site. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
In terms of prices and card models, it also shows that the indoor pool is clearly tailored to regular swimmers. The regular single entry costs 5 euros, reduced 3 euros; children and teenagers with a Fürth pass pay 1 euro, holders of the volunteer card Fürth pay 0 euros, as does the adult companion for the disabled. Children under 4 years have free entry. For frequent swimmers, there is the value card, which costs 100 euros and can be loaded with up to 150 euros; this provides a 12 percent discount on ticket purchases. The official FAQ also mentions 5- and 10-entry cards, which can each be used only once per day. This is an important point for people who want to swim laps regularly: instead of planning anew each time, a recurring card can be worthwhile. The cost structure is thus clearly geared towards everyday, repeated swimming rather than an event experience. Therefore, those searching for “Indoor Pool Fürth Prices,” “Value Card,” “Single Entry,” or “Tickets Online” will find the real usage options here without detours. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
Directions, Subway U1, and Parking at Scherbsgraben
The directions to the Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben are described clearly for visitors. According to the official site, the pool can be reached by bus line 172 at the Scherbsgrabenbäder stop as well as by subway line U1; the Stadthalle stop is about 300 meters away. Additionally, the site refers to the cycling network as a convenient alternative. For those searching for “Indoor Pool Fürth Directions” or “U1 Stadthalle,” this is a very useful combination as it explains both public transport and the walking distance at a glance. This is particularly practical for guests traveling from the Fürth city area or the extended Nuremberg area who do not necessarily want to drive. The location is therefore interesting not only for spontaneous swimmers but also for anyone who wants to organize their way consciously without much planning effort. Especially at an indoor pool with rather short time slots in the morning or on weekends, a stable public transport connection is a real advantage. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
Those arriving by car will find a very helpful parking solution directly at the location. The infra mentions the parking garage at Scherbsgraben, which is less than 50 meters next to the indoor pool. The parking page indicates 313 parking spaces; the parking garage is open from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM. Additionally, there are six E-charging spaces for cars and an E-bike charging station available across from the indoor pool, and charging cables can be borrowed for a deposit. The fees are also transparently displayed: 5 hours cost 1.50 euros, each additional hour 0.50 euros, and 24 hours 5 euros. This makes parking calculable and easy to understand for longer swimming sessions or accompanying visits. It is also important to note from infra to observe no-parking signs in the area of the summer pool and to use public transport whenever possible. For SEO and visitors, this means: “Indoor Pool Fürth parking” is not an open question but a clearly answered one. The combination of short distance, sufficient number of parking spaces, and e-mobility offerings significantly enhances the everyday usability of the location. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/produkte/mobilitaet/parken))
Swimming Pool, Teaching Pool, and Diving Board
The actual core argument for the Indoor Pool Fürth lies in its facilities. The official indoor pool page mentions a swimming pool with a water area of 15 by 25 meters, a water depth of up to 4.20 meters, a water temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, as well as a 1-meter diving board and a 3-meter diving tower. The city of Fürth confirms this basic structure and describes the indoor pool as a facility with a 15 by 25 meter swimming pool, a teaching pool, and diving options. It quickly becomes clear for what type of use the facility is intended: regular swimming, technique work, distance swimming, controlled water acclimatization, and moderate diving use. Especially for people who are not primarily looking for a recreational pool with slides, but rather a calm, factual swimming environment, this infrastructure is suitable. The 25-meter pool is ideal for laps, training, and clean pace, while the depth also provides room for more ambitious swimmers. The 26-degree water temperature gives a typical indoor pool character that is more geared towards activity than wellness. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
The teaching pool complements this sports orientation with a second, equally important level. With a water area of 15 by 8 meters, a depth of 0.80 to 1.35 meters, and a water temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, it is clearly designed for learning, practicing, and a more relaxed water feeling. This combination of sports pool and warm teaching pool is valuable for families, swimming courses, and beginners because it brings different types of use under one roof. In practice, this means that while experienced swimmers use the large pool for laps and endurance, beginners, children, or course participants can practice more safely in the shallower area. The structure of the pool is therefore not only functional but also logically built. Those searching for “Swimming Pool 15x25 m,” “Teaching Pool,” “Diving Board 1 m 3 m,” or “Indoor Pool Fürth Equipment” want to have exactly this information. The pool answers this search query very precisely and without unnecessary embellishment. This is precisely where the strength of this location lies: it is not spectacular but clear. And this clarity is the actual added value for many visitors who simply want to swim well. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
Fürthermare Access, Rules, and Practical Tips for the Visit
Another important point is the connection to Fürthermare. The official indoor pool page explicitly states that Fürthermare guests have direct and free access to the Indoor Pool Fürth during the access times posted at the turnstiles. The city of Fürth also describes the location as part of a larger pool offering at Scherbsgraben, to which Fürthermare belongs as a multi-generational and family pool. In the city overview, Fürthermare is described as a fun pool, thermal bath, sauna, sports pool, summer pool, spa, and fitness center. For visitors, this classification is helpful because it explains why the indoor pool should not be viewed in isolation: it is part of a more comprehensive pool location where sports and leisure use coexist. Therefore, those looking for a pure lap pool focus on the indoor pool; those who additionally want wellness or family offerings will find an extended environment at the same location. This combination is a clear location advantage and explains why the name Fürthermare appears in many search queries. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
For the practical visit, the official site also mentions several small but important rules that significantly ease the process on site. For example, one should bring a 1-euro coin for the changing rooms. Additionally, it applies that children up to 12 years have access only when accompanied by an adult. Those who purchased tickets online can retrieve them via email after purchase and additionally view them in their account under orders; the QR code should be shown to the indoor pool team upon entry or on the printout. Ticket cancellation is also excluded. Such details may seem inconspicuous for planning, but they often determine whether the visit runs smoothly or not. Especially at an indoor pool with fixed time slots, it is sensible to know in advance what to bring and how the check-in works. For search queries like “Indoor Pool Fürth Value Card,” “Tickets on Site,” “Children Access,” or “1 Euro Coin Changing Room,” the official FAQ thus provides very concrete answers. This type of information reduces misunderstandings and turns a simple swimming round into a well-prepared visit. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))
Photos, Impressions, and What to Know in Advance
Those searching for photos of the Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben will already find visual impressions on the official pages. The city of Fürth shows an image view of the indoor pool in the swimming pools section, while the infra site also features an image of the large pool. For the SEO search around “Indoor Pool Fürth Photos,” this is helpful because it shows that the location is documented not only textually but also visually. The content of the image material conveys the same impression as the technical specifications: a factually structured swimming pool focused on pools, lanes, and water surfaces. This visual expectation is important when one wants to assess in advance whether the location fits their needs. Those expecting an action pool will find something different here; however, those looking for a clearly structured indoor pool for swimming will recognize from the official pages that the facility is designed for practicality and usability. This is often an advantage for visitors, as it is clear what to expect even before the first step into the water. ([fuerth.de](https://www.fuerth.de/Home/Leben-in-Fuerth/Sport-Freizeit/baeder/telefonnummern-der-fuerther-baeder.aspx/1737_read-19220/home/fuerther-rathaus/rathauswegweiser/aemter-a-z/))
For the actual planning, the combination of opening hours, directions, pool structure, and ticket path is therefore crucial. The Indoor Pool Fürth is not a place for casual drop-ins without looking at the clock, but a location where a quick check before starting is worthwhile. Those searching for “Indoor Pool Fürth Reviews” often mean not only ratings but also practical orientation: Is the pool suitable for my goal, when can I go, how do I get there best, and what can I expect on site? The official information provides a reliable answer to this. With a 25-meter pool, teaching pool, diving options, bus and subway connections, a parking garage in immediate proximity, clear ticket options, and defined access times, the Indoor Pool Fürth Am Scherbsgraben is primarily one thing: a reliably planable swimming address in the middle of Fürth. Those looking for exactly that will find a precise, honest, and practical solution here. ([infra-fuerth.de](https://www.infra-fuerth.de/privatkunden/leistungen/schwimmbaeder/hallenbad-fuerth/))

As everyone else has already aptly described: the swimming pool is admittedly a bit dated, but clean and usually perfectly adequate for swimming. However, I simply don't understand the concept of it being a public swimming pool. No matter what time it is, there are ALWAYS clubs and swimming lessons in the pool. And several at once. You pay the regular entrance fee, but you can't really swim properly. The worst part is when, in the early evening, little non-swimmers with their pool noodles are jumping haphazardly off the diving board into the water, while only one lane is open for recreational swimmers. Who on earth comes up with plans like that? Aside from the fact that it's dangerous. Swimming lessons/clubs are all well and good. But you can't overcrowd a public swimming pool to the point where a regular swimmer can't find any time to swim properly. Neither during the week nor on weekends, even with the already very limited opening hours (8:00 AM to 1:00 PM!!!). It's very disappointing, but you're basically left with no other option than to go to neighboring towns.

I'd like to report that many of the lockers in the changing rooms aren't working properly. When I insert a €1 coin, the lock doesn't close, and I don't get my money back. The doors remain open, so I have to put my belongings in other lockers and leave them unlocked without money. This makes it easy for my things to be stolen. Please check and repair the lockers.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the previous speakers. Even though the pool is outdated, it would generally meet my needs, but unfortunately, most of the lanes are always occupied by clubs and schools. In short, the pool is outdated, the opening hours are very inconvenient, and there's usually only one lane available for recreational swimmers due to the high occupancy by schools and clubs. Charging full price here seems questionable to me. The concept should be reconsidered and adjusted.

My favorite indoor swimming pool... unfortunately, it's catastrophically crowded today (Sunday)... impossible to swim properly! I was there on Thursday, and it was fine then... but of course, you come, want to swim, pay for it, and then it's unpleasant! Probably the terrible opening hours are to blame...? What a shame!

Yes, the indoor pool is old and showing its age, but that's no excuse for the total organizational failure. How can you reserve both pools almost entirely for clubs and swimming lessons during the rare regular opening hours, so that the few swimmers who pay regular admission can effectively only tread water in place? Charging people €5 for this and then saying, "Tough, you still can't swim," is a disgrace. Then you should be fair to your customers and close the indoor pool during those hours, and instead open it more often early in the morning and in the evening.
