Green Tree Fürth | Events & Parking

The Green Tree Fürth is much more than an inn at Gustavstraße 34. Anyone entering this address experiences a house with history, atmosphere, and an unusually flexible use as a restaurant, event venue, and meeting place for celebrations of all kinds. The official website describes the Green Tree as one of the most traditional and oldest houses in Fürth; the tourism page of the city of Fürth additionally highlights the historical substance, the central location in the old town, and the generous event spaces. With over 600 square meters of space, various rooms, and a ballroom for up to 150 people, the location is suitable for private occasions, cultural evenings, and business formats alike. At the same time, the gastronomic character remains present: Franconian cuisine, regional products, a house with Augustiner beer, and an environment that combines old town flair and hospitality. Those searching for Green Tree Fürth events, Green Tree Fürth today, Green Tree Fürth program, or Green Tree Fürth menu are essentially looking for this combination of lifestyle, planning security, and historical backdrop. Events, Program, and Tickets at Green Tree Fürth

The search interest around Green Tree Fürth events, Green Tree Fürth today, Green Tree Fürth party, Green Tree Fürth New Year's Eve, or Green Tree Fürth Salsa clearly shows that the location is perceived not just as a classic tavern but as a lively event venue with a changing program. This is exactly what the Green Tree was built for: The official website features its own section for events, Christmas parties, and family celebrations, as well as a separate program page and a ticket shop. There, the range of events that the house can regularly host becomes visible: concerts, lectures, exhibitions, and theater events are just as much a part of it as private celebrations or seasonal specials. The city of Fürth describes the Green Tree as a place with a professional event team and full-service approach, which is particularly relevant for people who want their event not just booked but also organized cleanly. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/events-hochzeiten-feiern))

From an SEO and user perspective, it is important that this event logic fits the house. The building is located right in Gustavstraße, a street that is already known for urban life, gastronomy, and evening frequency. This makes a visit to the Green Tree feel not like an isolated event but like a part of Fürth's city life. Those searching for the current program will find the most direct entry on the official website, while the city of Fürth lists the location as an event venue for up to 150 people. This is a crucial point: A program here not only serves to entertain people but also to make the spatial possibilities of the house visible. The ballroom, the fireplace room, the parlor, and the courtyard can be used differently depending on the occasion, allowing for a different experience to emerge from a concert evening, a company party, or a private celebration. For search terms like today, party, New Year's Eve, carnival, or rose Monday, the connection of regular programming and changing seasonal formats is therefore particularly relevant. Parking, Access, and Barrier-Free Access

For the search query Green Tree Fürth parking, the most important official information is clear: The Tourist Information Fürth recommends the FLAIR underground parking garage at Königsstraße 112 for arriving by car. This is particularly convenient for visitors because the Green Tree is very centrally located in the old town and Gustavstraße is one of the busiest axes in the city center. Those who do not wish to come by car can reach the location well by public transport via the subway station Rathaus, according to the tourism page. This combination of central location and transport connection is an important advantage for events where guests travel from different parts of the region. Especially for evening events, larger celebrations, or seasonal dates like New Year's Eve, a clear parking and access logic is often decisive in whether a location is perceived as convenient and uncomplicated. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/planen-buchen/tagen-feiern/gruener-baum))

Barrier-free access is also one of the practical questions that guests often ask in advance. The Tourist Information Fürth makes a differentiated statement about this: All areas of the Green Tree are barrier-free except for the ballroom, the fireplace room, and the brewmaster's parlor, which are located on the first floor. A disabled toilet is available on the ground floor. This transparency is important because it avoids planning errors and enables reliable preparation, especially for weddings, family celebrations, or conferences. Those planning an event with older guests, strollers, wheelchairs, or limited mobility can assess in advance which rooms are suitable and which are not. This is exactly why the search term Green Tree Fürth parking fits so well with the overall profile of the location: Visitors want to know not only if a room is nice but also whether the arrival, access, and overall process are practical. The Green Tree scores here with a city center location, a nearby underground garage, good public transport connections, and clearly communicated access conditions. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/planen-buchen/tagen-feiern/gruener-baum))

Menu, Franconian Cuisine, and Sunday Menu

The search query Green Tree Fürth menu refers to a second core of the house: The Green Tree is not only an event venue but also a gastronomic address with a clear culinary signature. The official menu describes the cuisine as influenced by Franconian traditions, fresh, regional, and interpreted in a high-quality manner. Handpicked producers, top quality, and a selection that does not make down-to-earth cuisine seem outdated but presents it in a modern and stylish way are mentioned. This is exactly what makes the Green Tree interesting for guests who expect more than a standard offering during a restaurant visit. The kitchen sees itself as part of the overall offering: Those who eat here are not sitting in an interchangeable establishment but in historical rooms with atmosphere and a visible connection to Fürth's old town. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/speisekarte))

Particularly important for planning are the notes on the Sunday and holiday menu as well as the seasonal menu. This means that the offering is not rigid but can react to the respective occasion and the daily condition of the operation. For families, excursionists, and people searching for Green Tree Fürth today, this is valuable: Those coming on weekends or holidays should expect a special menu and can also trust that fresh ingredients and regional cuisine are the focus. The appearance on the homepage with Franconian cuisine, a team with heart, family-friendliness, and celebrating & enjoying shows that food and event culture are closely linked here. Additionally, the website refers to Augustiner beer, thus to a beer culture that is strongly anchored in the Franconian and Bavarian context. This creates a gastronomic profile that fits the house, the street, and the city: a place for hearty dishes, for sociable sitting, and for guests seeking the connection of cuisine, history, and hospitality. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/speisekarte))

Rooms, Capacities, and Technology for Celebrations

Those considering the Green Tree Fürth as an event location quickly recognize that the rooms are tailored to different formats. According to the tourism page of the city of Fürth, a total area of over 600 square meters is available. The ballroom is the largest room at 300 square meters and offers up to 150 seats. The Augustiner Stube and the cabinet together add up to 90 square meters and can accommodate up to 80 people. The fireplace room comprises 60 square meters and is suitable for up to 45 people, while the brewmaster's parlor measures 37 square meters and can hold up to 35 guests. This is complemented by the beer garden with 35 to 60 seats and the courtyard as a sunny outdoor area for up to 40 seated people. Thus, the location is not only large but also deliberately modular. Small meetings, medium-sized celebrations, and large occasions can be spatially cleanly separated or combined. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/planen-buchen/tagen-feiern/gruener-baum))

Even in terms of technical equipment, it becomes clear that the Green Tree is designed for events beyond classic restaurant operations. Available are projectors, stage lighting, screens, microphones, sound systems, whiteboards, and Wi-Fi. This may sound sober, but in practice, it is an important argument for conferences, lectures, cultural formats, or corporate events. When a room is technically prepared, the effort for organizers and guests decreases. The in-house kitchen additionally supports catering, and the event team, according to the official description, accompanies the planning through to implementation. Especially in combination with the historical ambiance and central location, a profile emerges that logically connects search terms like Green Tree Fürth events, Green Tree Fürth ticket shop, and Green Tree Fürth program. The location is not just a beautiful setting but a functional infrastructure for celebrations, business formats, and cultural evenings. Those looking to combine rooms, equipment, and service in one place will find an unusually strong mix of tradition and utility here. ([tourismus-fuerth.de](https://www.tourismus-fuerth.de/planen-buchen/tagen-feiern/gruener-baum))

Weddings, Family Celebrations, and Corporate Events with Atmosphere

For weddings, birthdays, family celebrations, corporate events, and conferences, the Green Tree Fürth is particularly interesting because it does not pit emotion against organization. The official events page explicitly names these occasions and emphasizes that the house wants to find the right setting for every number of people. This is more than just a marketing phrase: The individual rooms, the technical equipment, and the historical substance make it clear that groups of varying sizes can be sensibly accommodated here. The Augustiner Stube and the cabinet form the heart of the house according to the website; the ballroom is the gem for weddings, receptions, or concerts; the Schwemm is considered the coziest tavern; the brewmaster's parlor as the oldest tavern in Fürth; and the courtyard extends everything outdoors. Thus, when planning a celebration, one does not simply receive a room but an ensemble with different moods. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/events-hochzeiten-feiern))

For SEO search patterns like Green Tree Fürth wedding or Green Tree Fürth party, this is crucial: People are not just looking for a place but an atmosphere that fits the occasion. The historical walls, the stylishly newly designed rooms, and the professional event team create a framework in which private and business occasions can credibly come together. The city of Fürth emphasizes the full-service approach and points out that the location is situated in the bustling Gustavstraße. This is particularly advantageous for celebrations with guests who are looking for an urban environment after the official part. The option to use the courtyard or the beer garden also gives the house additional flexibility that not every historical location can offer. Those planning a wedding at the Green Tree are not only opting for a beautiful ambiance but for a house that has the necessary infrastructure, gastronomy, and capacity to make a celebration a coherent overall experience. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/events-hochzeiten-feiern))

History, Old Town, and Special Details about the House

The history of the Green Tree Fürth is an essential part of its current appeal. The official history page describes the house as one of the oldest inns in Franconia and traces the gastronomic tradition back to 1607. Thus, the inn is not only old in a general sense but historically deeply rooted in the development of the city. The page also reminds us that Fürth already had a remarkable brewing culture in the 16th century and that the history of the house spans more than 400 years. The history features not only innkeepers and brewers but also kings, mercenaries, guilds, and political actors. This mixture of everyday life and history makes the Green Tree so special: It is not an artificially staged traditional place but a house where local memory and urban use have been continued for centuries. ([gruenerbaumfuerth.de](https://www.gruenerbaumfuerth.de/geschichte))

The building itself is described in FürthWiki as a two-story sandstone block building at a corner location built around 1800; the ground floor may even date back to the 17th century. The Wiki page also reports that the house was extensively renovated in 2018, during which a wooden ceiling was uncovered that is said to date back to 1607. According to the same source, this ceiling is considered a possible indication of the oldest tavern in Fürth. Additionally, there is the well-known memorial plaque for Gustav Adolf, the historical legend of his stay in 1632, and the note that the inn has always been located at this site. The official history page adds that the inn emerged around 1800 from a farm complex, was shaped by the Löhe family, and that August Bebel even spoke there in 1869. These details are not mere embellishments but explain why the house in Gustavstraße is still perceived so strongly today: It is architecture, narrative, gastronomy, and event venue in one. Thus, when visiting the Green Tree, one does not just enter a room but a piece of Fürth's city history that is still actively used today. We were there for a wedding. The food was great, the service was fairly quick. Though it wouldn't have hurt to have another drink person on staff. Only thing was the AC in the room was not evenly distributed. If you were in the middle of the room dancing, you were feeling warm. Otherwise, great location.

We ran into this place by accident during the Weinfest and I’m glad we did. I had arguably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had in a German restaurant at this place and it was a roast beef plate. The bacon-wrapped green beans alone had a wonderful unique taste. I ordered mine with grilled vegetables instead of curly fries which I ate first lol. The roast beef is a nice size and was perfectly cooked. It came with a very nice sauce that matched perfectly along with some crispy onions!! It’s about 20€ but I would gladly pay that for this plate again.

They carry the best beer, what is there more to say! Ok, the asparagus soup was also great.
