DLRG Local Association Fürth e.V. | Events & Registration
The DLRG Local Association Fürth e.V. is a well-established address in Fürth for swimming education, water rescue, youth work, and practical courses. In official documents, the local association is listed at Mainstraße 39 in 90768 Fürth; it is also noted as founded in 1953 in a club booklet. The nationwide DLRG promotes the guiding principle of being in service for life since 1913. For people looking for events, courses, or supposed tickets, it is important to know: DLRG Fürth is not a classic cultural or concert operation, but an active association with clear educational paths, event formats, and volunteer engagement. This is exactly what gives the site its special character. Those seeking information will find not only dates but also training times, areas of operation, contacts, and specific registration options. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/fileadmin/groups/2020050/BP/bp01-2014_opt.pdf))
History and Profile of DLRG Fürth
DLRG Fürth connects local club history with a clear, modern mission. The homepage focuses on the idea of water rescue, complemented by swimming courses for children, participation offers, and the note that every support counts. This is not a random advertising image, but the logical consequence of a local association that operates between swimming competence, prevention, and rescue. The historical anchoring is remarkable: The official club presentation in the local association's documents states 1953 as the founding year. Together with the visible postal address in the club environment at Mainstraße 39, a picture of continuity, local presence, and long-standing club work emerges. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/fileadmin/groups/2020050/BP/bp01-2014_opt.pdf))
For seekers, this mix of tradition and practice is particularly relevant. The website clearly shows that the local association is not a static club, but a vibrant training and operational site. The navigation leads directly to courses and safety, participation, for members, youth, boat service, and medicine. This allows DLRG Fürth to cover a wide range: from swimming education for children to rescue swimming and first aid, to boat service and youth offers. Even if someone is only looking for events, they quickly encounter the larger context: This is about saving lives, knowledge, community, and voluntary engagement. This makes DLRG Fürth a location with profile, not just an arbitrary event address. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/))
Events and Dates at DLRG Fürth
The events page of DLRG Fürth clearly shows what type of events the local association currently offers. Several dates for 2026 appear on the homepage, including the youth large exercise of the aid organizations, the module 402/403/404 for operations in coastal waters, swimming in flowing waters, handling rescue equipment, and monitoring water areas, first aid training, the German rescue swimming badge, and a swimming course for the Seepferdchen badge. This selection shows that the program consists of training, operational preparation, and youth work. Those looking for a classic cultural program will find something different here, but no less relevant: a club life with clear learning objectives, practical relevance, and fixed time slots. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/))
The youth page also confirms this character. It states that the youth board was newly elected in February 2020 and primarily takes care of youth and public relations work. It is also explained that there are regular swimming trainings, a beginner swimming course takes place twice a year, and the exact training times can be accessed via the website. This means for everyone looking for a program in 2026, events, or training: DLRG Fürth organizes recurring formats that are not only designed for individual event days but for continuous development. This is particularly attractive for families, young people, and interested parties because one can become part of a structure, not just a guest. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/mitmachen/jugend/))
Tickets, Registration, and Fees
The search term tickets is understandable at DLRG Fürth, but only partially reflects the structure of the website. Instead of a classic ticket logic, the local association primarily works with registrations, registration deadlines, participant numbers, and course fees. Many pages contain precise information about status, target group, prerequisites, event location, dates, and documents. For users, this is often even more practical than a simple ticket purchase, as they can immediately see whether a course is open, what conditions apply, and what documents are needed. For some offers, a registration code is required, which is issued by the organizer. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/kurse-und-sicherheit/anmeldung/erste-hilfe-ausbildung-in-fuerth-bayern-278743-s/))
It is particularly interesting that not all offers are priced the same. The module 402/403/404 is free for active members of DLRG OV Fürth, while it costs 105 euros for everyone else. The first aid training lists fees of 50 euros for other participants, 15 euros for members of OV Fürth, and 0 euros for BG cases. The Seepferdchen course 01/2026 costs 150 euros or 100 euros in the BayStMI variant. Such information transparently shows that DLRG Fürth is not a flat-rate event house, but a training association with a clear, understandable cost structure. So those looking for tickets should actually look for registration, course fees, and registration deadlines. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/kurse-und-sicherheit/anmeldung/modul-402-403-404-einsatz-an-342690-s/?utm_source=openai))
Swimming Courses and Rescue Swimming Training
Swimming education is one of the most visible focuses of DLRG Fürth. The youth page explains that members who can already swim can train once a week and that a beginner swimming course is offered twice a year. For 2026, an additional Seepferdchen course for children and young people from 5 years is announced. This course includes 15 dates at the indoor pool in Fürth at Scherbsgraben 15, each from 18:45 to 19:30, and combines basic skills with concrete learning objectives such as bathing rules, a jump from the pool edge, swimming 25 meters, and retrieving an object from shoulder-deep water. This makes it clear: DLRG Fürth is not only working on safety but also at the forefront of swimming competence. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/mitmachen/jugend/))
Also in the area of rescue swimming, the offer is content-rich. The website describes the rescue swimming training as a course led by certified instructors, in which techniques for self-rescue and rescue of others are taught. The courses are conducted according to the current regulations of the examination regulations for swimming/rescue swimming and are thus recognized by universities and educational institutions according to the website. For the DRSA, there is also a structured process with e-learning through the DLRG Academy of the state association Bavaria, scheduled dates on Tuesdays, and a combination of theory and practice. The result is a clear educational architecture: Those who want to join DLRG Fürth receive not just a course but a pathway from learning to swim to rescue competence. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/kurse-und-sicherheit/rettungsschwimmausbildung/))
First Aid, Medical Service, and Training
Another important area is first aid offers. DLRG Fürth points out that it is part of the DLRG District Mittelfranken, a training center recognized by the professional association for operational first responders. The page on first aid courses describes a first aid training with 9 teaching units of 45 minutes each, addressing emergencies in private and professional life. Also mentioned are the contents of cardiopulmonary resuscitation with AED, basics of bleeding control, wound care, internal diseases, and the treatment of fractures. This makes the location relevant for companies, clubs, and individuals alike because it is about real everyday safety and not just theoretical backdrop. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/kurse-und-sicherheit/erste-hilfe-kurse/?utm_source=openai))
It is also practical that DLRG Fürth describes the benefits of such training very concretely. According to the course page, the certificate is relevant for driving license classes, rescue swimming training, diving certificates, and leading youth groups. In the course example, participant numbers, fees, required provisions, and organizational details are also mentioned. Additionally, the membership page points out that the local association provides medical services at various events and concerts in the metropolitan region. This shows a clear added value: DLRG Fürth not only imparts knowledge but also ensures that safety in everyday life and at events becomes tangible through training and services. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/kurse-und-sicherheit/anmeldung/erste-hilfe-ausbildung-in-fuerth-bayern-278743-s/))
Youth, Boat Service, Membership, and Contact
Youth work at DLRG Fürth is much more than a supplementary offer. The youth page describes an environment where young members participate in regular swimming training, improve their technique, and can develop in a club structure characterized by engagement. Additionally, youth leisure activities, Christmas baking, Christmas parties, and other activities show that DLRG Fürth also functions as a community space. This is important for parents and young people because here sports, learning, and leisure are not separated but meaningfully connected. Especially the youth operational team highlights the educational claim: Children and young people are playfully introduced to the tasks of DLRG as an operational organization. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/mitmachen/jugend/))
The boat service further underscores the professional character of the local association. The website states that DLRG Fürth can deploy three motor rescue boats and a raft in case of emergency. Boats are used, among other things, for searching for missing persons, rescuing from waters, recovering property, evacuations during floods, diving operations from the boat, securing events, and providing technical assistance. So those looking for a location with a real operational profile will find a site where water rescue is organized concretely. This is exactly why membership fits so well into the overall picture: According to the website, one can become a member from birth, and the categories range from youth to adults and families to corporations, companies, and associations. ([fuerth.dlrg.de](https://fuerth.dlrg.de/mitmachen/bootsdienst/))
For practical visits, the local address is clear and important. In official documents and course pages, Mainstraße 39 in 90768 Fürth appears as the address of the local association, while swimming courses take place at the indoor pool in Fürth at Scherbsgraben 15. The website refers to a specific route description for many courses, indicating that the exact way always depends on the respective offer. Additionally, several direct contact addresses are provided, such as ausbildung@fuerth.dlrg.de, einsatz@fuerth.dlrg.de, vorstand@fuerth.dlrg.de, and finanzen@fuerth.dlrg.de. For visitors, this means: Always check the specific course page before an appointment, as it reliably lists the location, time, prerequisites, and documents.
My new employer mandated that all employees complete a first aid course! The instructors, Dieter and Jacob, guided the entire group through the course thoroughly and clearly! They used videos and photos for illustration! We even got to practice applying pressure bandages to each other using first aid materials! The most interesting part was the life-size mannequins, which we used in pairs to practice CPR and rescue breathing! Very informative, interesting, and engaging! I enjoyed it immensely! Thanks to both of them!! 👌👌
