Bavarian Red Cross District Association Fürth | First Aid & Daycare Centers
The BRK District Association Fürth is located at Henri-Dunant-Straße 11 in Fürth, serving as the local contact point of the Bavarian Red Cross for people seeking help, advice, education, and reliable social services. The official website quickly reveals the wide range of offerings: first aid courses for driver's licenses, professions, and studies, outpatient care, emergency call services, social counseling, childcare, services for seniors, and volunteer engagement all intertwine here. The district association describes itself as part of an organization that saves lives worldwide and locally, helps in emergencies, and protects humanitarian values. In the city and district of Fürth, it fulfills this mission with professional services, voluntary engagement, and several specialized facilities. Therefore, those looking for a single location will find more of a Red Cross center with many functional areas than a classic event venue. This is precisely what makes the location so interesting: here, practical knowledge, social responsibility, and concrete support for families, older adults, and those in need come together. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/?utm_source=openai))
First Aid Courses at BRK Fürth: Training, Target Groups, and Practical Relevance
The first aid courses are among the most sought-after services related to the BRK District Association Fürth, and this is easily understandable. The offerings are aimed at prospective drivers, employees who are to be trained as company first responders, students, trainers, and anyone wishing to refresh their knowledge. The course pages emphasize the practical nature: participants are to not only hear rules but also be able to act quickly and safely in emergencies. The basic course consists of a full day of 9 teaching units of 45 minutes each, and a fee of 70 euros is mentioned for the standard course. For company first responders, the regulations of the accident prevention regulation and the German statutory accident insurance apply; costs are usually covered by the responsible professional association. Additionally, BRK Fürth conducts in-house training for a minimum of twelve participants, which is particularly interesting for companies, associations, and institutions. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/kurse/erste-hilfe.html?utm_source=openai))
The breadth of the course portfolio is remarkable and explains why search terms like first aid at work, first aid for children, and first aid for dogs appear so frequently. BRK Fürth offers not only the classic Red Cross course but also thematically tailored formats for daycare centers, schools, medical and nursing facilities, as well as special target groups. The official representation even emphasizes that the training employs medically experienced and didactically qualified instructors. Organizationally, the offerings also appear user-friendly: private individuals can pay in cash on the day of the course, and online payments or bank transfers are offered depending on the course. Those with questions can find a dedicated FAQ page with the most important answers and the note that a binding registration is required. The courses are adapted to everyday needs, making them equally attractive for parents, working individuals, and volunteers. The barrier-free course room in the office at Henri-Dunant-Straße further enhances accessibility. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/leichte-sprache/kurse/erste-hilfe/rotkreuzkurs-erste-hilfe.html?utm_source=openai))
Daycare Center Nautilus and Family Services of BRK Fürth
Family-related inquiries are also highly relevant at the BRK District Association Fürth, especially regarding the daycare center Nautilus. This facility is the largest daycare center of the district association and has 100 places in four groups. It began operations at the end of 1996 and is described on the website as modern and spacious. The address Jahnstraße 8 in Fürth makes it clear that the BRK is not only present at the main location on Henri-Dunant-Straße but also maintains several concrete contact points for families in the city area. The overall page on daycare centers additionally explains that BRK Fürth operates three daycare centers: the bilingual daycare Little Friends, the daycare Nautilus, and the Red Cross Villa in Veitsbronn. Together, these facilities care for nearly 270 children aged one year to ten years. This is a strong signal for families seeking reliable care and a pedagogically clear environment. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/angebote/kinder-jugend-und-familie/kindertagesstaetten/kindertagesstaette-nautilus.html?utm_source=openai))
The family services extend beyond the daycare center and make the district association a place where social closeness and everyday help become tangible. The homepage mentions experience dance and senior clubs, baby swimming, and an open play meeting. The play meeting particularly illustrates how BRK Fürth creates encounters and brings together people of different age groups. Therefore, those looking for photos or impressions will find no simple standard presentation on the official pages but rather images and brief insights into very different life worlds: childcare, family activities, and intergenerational offerings. This is also important for the search intention because the location is not just an administrative place but a network of educational, social, and community-oriented spaces. For parents, grandparents, and interested parties, this creates an authentic picture: BRK Fürth does not think of care in isolation but as part of a larger social offering in the city and district of Fürth. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/?utm_source=openai))
Nursing Home Willy Bühner, Grete-Schickedanz-Heim, and Care in Fürth
The care facilities of BRK Fürth are another central focus of search interest and demonstrate how deeply the district association is rooted in the everyday lives of older adults. The nursing home Willy Bühner was opened in January 1991 and offers a home for 108 seniors. It is located in the city center of Oberasbach, directly at the pedestrian zone, making it easier and safer for residents to manage trips for shopping, doctor visits, walks, or café visits. The facility also mentions special rooms such as a dementia room for group activities with people suffering from dementia. Additionally, there is an in-house kitchen providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, and dinner, as well as an active leisure program that, according to BRK press work, is supplemented by volunteers with readings, music, or film afternoons. For those interested in photos, this blend of everyday proximity and care is important because it makes the character of the house tangible. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/angebote/wohnen-und-betreuung/pflegeheime/seniorenheim-willy-buehner.html?utm_source=openai))
The Grete-Schickedanz-Heim complements this picture with a second centrally located care facility in Fürth. It is located on Würzburger or Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, in close proximity to the clinic, and has direct subway access right outside the door. The house accommodates 90 seniors in single and double rooms, which are furnished but can be decorated according to personal taste. Each room has a barrier-free bathroom, as well as emergency call, radio, television, and telephone connections. The facility also offers a banquet hall, a hair salon, a sun terrace, a large garden with flower beds, benches, and a small fitness area. The career page of BRK Fürth also mentions that the outpatient social station cares for about 250 people in the city area. This complements the stationary homes sensibly, as it shows that care here is not only thought of as home care but also as support in the familiar home. Therefore, those searching for the topic of nursing home Willy Bühner or Grete-Schickedanz-Heim are ultimately looking for a comprehensive care and support system that connects stationary, outpatient, and social components. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/angebote/wohnen-und-betreuung/pflegeheime/grete-schickedanz-heim.html?utm_source=openai))
Contact, Directions, Barrier-Free Access, and Parking at the Red Cross House
For practical orientation, the official contact page of BRK Fürth is particularly helpful. The general address is Henri-Dunant-Straße 11, 90762 Fürth. There is the district office, the Red Cross house, and at the same time the central contact point for many offerings. The telephone switchboard is available Monday to Friday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, which is remarkably generous service hours for a social institution with many target groups. Those in need of support in emergencies can also find a clear distinction on the contact page between the emergency service at 112 and the medical on-call service at 116 117. This is important for seekers because BRK Fürth not only offers courses and facilities but can also be understood as a contact point in urgent situations. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/das-brk/kontakt/kontakt.html?utm_source=openai))
Regarding directions and parking, the official communication is reserved but still useful. An invitation to the general meeting explicitly points out that there are limited parking options around the district office. For visitors, this means: Those planning a course, a counseling session, or an appointment at the Red Cross house should allow some buffer time and inform themselves early about the specific journey. Positively, the course room for first aid offerings is described as barrier-free accessible. This makes it clear that accessibility is not a marginal issue at BRK Fürth but is practically considered. The location of the main site on Henri-Dunant-Straße is also functional, as several services are bundled here and the paths within the house remain short. However, the official website does not publish a detailed public parking plan, so the best strategy is usually to check the appointment in advance and inquire directly if necessary. This mix of a central address, clear contacts, and openly communicated limitations makes planning at the location transparent. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/fileadmin/Eigene_Bilder_und_Videos/Flyer_usw/Einladung_Mitgliederversammlung_2025_03_04.pdf?utm_source=openai))
Photos, Reviews, and the First Impression of BRK Fürth
Those searching for photos or reviews of the BRK District Association Fürth are usually not just looking for an address but for an impression of how the individual offerings appear. The official pages already provide quite a bit of material for this: On the pages for first aid courses, the daycare center Nautilus, and the nursing homes, image motifs and photo credits are integrated that make the houses, rooms, and offerings visible. This is important because the district association is not a single hall or a single restaurant but an organization with very different functions. A photo of a course room tells something different than a photo from a daycare center or from a nursing home garden. It can be inferred that reviews should always be read in the context of the respective offering, such as for courses, care, support, or family offerings separately. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/kurse/erste-hilfe.html?utm_source=openai))
The overall first impression is shaped by order, functionality, and social benefit. BRK Fürth does not present itself as a glamorous place but as a reliable service provider with human closeness. This fits the search queries for photos and reviews: Interested parties want to know if the rooms are well-kept, if the atmosphere seems friendly, and if the offerings are practical in everyday life. The web presentation suggests that the various facilities each have their own character but share the same fundamental claim: to make help for people concrete and accessible. For a daycare center, this means modern, spacious rooms; for a nursing home, it means barrier-free rooms, garden, and kitchen; for a course, it means an accessible hall and clear processes. Thus, the visual impression is connected with the substantive promise of the facility. Therefore, those looking online for reviews should not only pay attention to stars but also to whether the respective facility fits their own needs. In this sense, photos at BRK Fürth are not just decoration but a guide. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/angebote/kinder-jugend-und-familie/kindertagesstaetten/kindertagesstaette-nautilus.html?utm_source=openai))
Why the BRK District Association Fürth is More Than Just an Address in the City
The special value of the BRK District Association Fürth lies in the fact that it bundles many tasks under one roof and thus works closely with people in everyday life. The homepage emphasizes that the district association is active in the city and district of Fürth with five volunteer communities, a professional rescue service, and a variety of social facilities and services. Additionally, there are emergency call services, care, educational offerings, senior work, services for people with disabilities, childcare, and youth red cross. This diversity explains why the location appears in search engines not only for a single service but for very different topics such as first aid, daycare centers, nursing homes, counseling, or photos. Thus, BRK Fürth is not just a contact point but a social network that connects different life phases. ([brk-fuerth.de](https://www.brk-fuerth.de/?utm_source=openai))
This is particularly evident in the complementary offerings: Social counseling supports people in difficult life situations, emergency call services ensure safety in their own four walls, and open disability work organizes leisure, cultural, and meeting formats. In volunteering, the same structure is evident with youth red cross, water rescue, and welfare and social work. This makes it understandable why the search terms related to BRK Fürth are so broad: people are not only looking for a location but for concrete help, participation, or care. For local perception, this is a strong profile because the district association brings together different generations and needs. The official website thus conveys a clear image: BRK Fürth is a place of helping, learning, and accompanying, where courses, care, and community do not stand alongside each other but complement each other. For users who want to inform themselves, register, or simply gain a first impression, this combination is the actual added value.
Hello dear Red Cross, it's nice that you have a clothing donation container and it's supposedly located on Untere Fischerstraße according to the search. Unfortunately, it's on your property and surrounded by a fence with a locked gate. I just have a quick question: How is anyone supposed to drop off clothing donations there? You walk there with your walker and then you're faced with a locked door. That's not nice and really unnecessary.

LEARN TO PARK!!! Even though you know there's as much traffic as shown in the picture at 5:00 PM, people just throw their cars wherever they want, not even halfway in, even though they know exactly how it is with fines and all. Just driving through to go to the bakery. Are they supposed to help? When they endanger people themselves?

Do you care about family members? Then better look for another care service! Update 10/18/2025: Unfortunately, we are still struggling with "the aftereffects." There is no help from the BRK in our matter. Just two phone calls that basically brought no solution or clarification. What a shame!

The first aid training at the BRK in Atzenhof was very exciting and informative. We learned a lot from the instructor, Mr. Jürgen Hroch. Thanks to our active participation, the time flew by. Great practical guidance.

Recently, in our institute, we had the pleasure of undergoing training for company first responders with Mr. Hroch. Mr. Hroch trained a group of about 12 employees over two consecutive days and did an excellent job of alleviating our fear of making mistakes in first aid. Through examples from his daily life as a paramedic and practical exercises and role plays, he managed to keep our attention high and made the course consistently engaging. Furthermore, he was able to provide us with many helpful and practical tips for first aid equipment in the company. The feedback from the participants was exclusively very positive. Also, the contact beforehand regarding planning and organization was very pleasant, and Ms. Zelenka was able to provide clarity on all questions, ensuring a successful planning and execution process. When the refresher course is due in two years, we will definitely book with the Red Cross again and hope that Mr. Hroch will be available then.
