When Economic Forecasts Become Absurd Puppet Theater
On Thursday, November 12, 2026, the kultur.lokal.fürth transforms into a stage for intelligent satire, societal observation, and playful nonsense. The puppet theater for adults The Forecast of the Economists and Other Nonsense is part of the project Art Transformer III and starts at 6 PM.
Puppet Theater Between Analysis and Absurdity
The title sets the tone: Where economic forecasts, numbers, and expert voices are meant to explain everyday life, puppet theater opens its own space for thought. Through the means of stage art, a perspective emerges that puts economic certainties into motion and directs attention to the absurdities of social debates.
Art Transformer III: Encounter of Different Disciplines
The performance is embedded in the exhibition Elsewhere of the project Art Transformer III. Since 2012, Art Transformer has brought together artists and cultural creators from various disciplines. Through exchange, new works are created that transcend the existing boundaries between literature, visual arts, and performative forms.
An Evening at kultur.lokal.fürth
The stage experience takes place at kultur.lokal.fürth at Bahnhofplatz. The open atmosphere of the exhibition venue combines theater ambiance with contemporary art. Puppet theater for adults promises a special connection of visual precision, symbolic stage action, and social reflection.
Free Admission
Admission to kultur.lokal.fürth and to the accompanying events and participation offers of the Art Transformer III project is free. Registration is not required.
