Fürth daycare centers open their doors for curious families
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, numerous daycare facilities in the Fürth city area invite families to the open house day. From 9:00 to 13:00, parents and children will receive personal insights into crèches, kindergartens, and after-school care, and get to know educational professionals and support staff.
Discover spaces and experience everyday life in daycare
During a tour of the facilities, families get a vivid picture of everyday life in childcare. Children can rediscover familiar play situations, explore new rooms, and together with their parents gather first impressions. Parents gain valuable orientation in their search for a suitable childcare place.
Personal discussions with educational teams
The staff will inform about daily routines, types of care, and educational concepts. In direct exchange, families learn how crèches, kindergartens, and after-school care support children's development and create child-friendly learning experiences. Questions about settling in, everyday life, and registration can be discussed personally on site.
For crèche children, kindergarten children, and school children
The event day is aimed at families with different childcare needs. Crèches offer services for children under three years old, kindergartens support children until they start school, and after-school care is aimed at school-aged children. The city of Fürth also provides information about the central daycare portal Little Bird, through which childcare requests can be submitted digitally.
A family experience with orientation and fun learning
The visit combines quality time together, children's laughter, and important information for family life. Parents gain confidence in their decision-making while children have the opportunity to get to know an institution in a relaxed atmosphere. The open doors create opportunities for meeting, trust, and a child-friendly first contact.
Well prepared for the visit
Families can take the opportunity to compare several facilities in the city area and inquire about educational focuses, availability times, and registration processes. The Little Bird portal is available for the registration of daycare facilities in Fürth. Admission to the participating events is free.

The open house day of daycare centers offers families a direct, personal, and informative insight into the childcare landscape in Fürth.
