Welcome to the Colorful Stains: Families discover a children's house full of possibilities
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Children's House Colorful Stains in Fürth opens its doors. Families will receive a personal insight into everyday life at the children's house from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM, explore the rooms, and meet parents, children, and the educational team.
Arrive, look around, and feel comfortable
During the open house day, visitors will experience the family atmosphere of the parents' initiative firsthand. Both small and large guests can calmly explore the house, ask questions, and engage in conversation. This creates an authentic family experience filled with children's laughter, curiosity, and shared time.
Rooms for play, movement, and learning fun
The children's house is located in a house of approximately 320 square meters with several floors, a courtyard, and a garden. Lovingly designed rooms provide space for free play, small group activities, and retreat. A building corner, a cuddly corner, and child-friendly elevated areas invite exploration. The movement room includes a climbing wall, long benches, and a soft mat among other facilities for children.
Active outside in the courtyard and garden
The outdoor area is also part of the children's house concept. A large sandbox, swings, and children's vehicles await in the courtyard. The garden adds to the offerings with grassy areas, a slide-tower combination, a tunnel, another sand area, and a water basin. Families will gain a vivid impression of how versatile movement, nature experiences, and free play can be integrated into daily life.
Child-friendly pedagogy and participation
The Colorful Stains operate according to a situational approach. The educational work takes the experiences, ideas, and suggestions of the children seriously and strengthens their participation in the community. Free play times, thematic offerings in small groups, excursion days, and forest weeks create age-appropriate learning experiences. Democratic processes promote independence, social development, and a sense of responsibility.
Which families will benefit from the visit?
The children's house is aimed at families who want to get to know a personal facility with a nursery and children's shop. The city of Fürth offers a nursery group for children aged one to three years and a children's shop group for children aged three to six years. Further information about the facility, the educational concept, and the admission requirements can be discussed directly when getting to know the place.
Conclusion: Gaining a first impression together
The open house day offers families the opportunity to experience the rooms, garden, educational stance, and community of the Colorful Stains with their own eyes.
