Puppets open doors to imagination, language, and shared time
When a puppet suddenly comes to life, children's laughter, wonder, and completely new conversation moments arise. In the workshop Discover the Magic of Puppetry, parents, grandparents, and multipliers learn how to use puppets as a child-friendly tool in family life and educational work.
Learning through play and exciting children
Puppets immediately address children's imagination. They invite storytelling, questions, and participation, creating a trusting atmosphere. The workshop will showcase examples and practical techniques that enable adults to support children's creativity, language development, and social skills.
Try it out instead of just watching
The focus is on personal learning experiences. Participants practice with various puppets in small groups and discover how characters come to life through voice, movement, and simple play ideas. The suggestions can be implemented directly at home or in educational work.
Educational value for family life
The family experience combines fun learning with shared time. Puppets facilitate access to emotions, foster language development and social behavior, and provide children a protected space for role-playing. The event is particularly aimed at adults who want to accompany children age-appropriately and enrich their interactions playfully.
With professional guidance
The workshop is led by Sabine Lehmann, an educational consultant for family education at KEB MittenInFranken. The focus is on practical methods, child-friendly use, and a safe, appreciative approach to children.
Conclusion: Families and educational caregivers can expect an inspiring evening filled with practical ideas, imagination, and new conversation impulses. Those who want to discover puppets not just as toys, but as a bridge to children will experience a valuable learning opportunity. Participation is free; pre-registration is recommended.
