Dive into the fascinating world of bees with all senses
How is honey made, why do bees need flowers, and do all bees really have a stinger? At the family-friendly beekeeping action in Fürth, children and adults discover the world of these small pollinators in an illustrative way. The experiential lecture combines exciting nature education with sweet taste experiences and creative crafting.
Astonishment at small helpers with a big impact
At the center are the honey bee and its important role in our environment. Families learn how bees collect nectar, what happens in a beehive, and why blooming plants are indispensable for nature. The child-friendly delivery fosters curiosity, observational skills, and initial understanding of ecological connections.
Taste honey and get to know beeswax
A special moment awaits at the sweet tasting: Participants can try the first honey from the Hard and connect taste with nature experience. Additionally, it will focus on beeswax plates and their production. Thus, a lecture becomes a sensory learning experience with many conversation starters for families.
Creative candle-making for little crafting fans
After the experiential lecture, the practical part begins. During creative candle-making, children and adults can design their own beeswax candles. The calm work with the natural material promotes fine motor skills, concentration, and collaborative activity. Especially during the pre-Christmas season, a warm, festive atmosphere is created.
An age-appropriate family experience in Fürth
The event is aimed at both young and old, curious nature explorers, and crafting fans. The manageable time frame of 90 minutes is well-suited for shared afternoon time. Families experience children's laughter, wonder, and learning fun in a protected environment and take practical impulses for a bee-friendly everyday life home with them.
