An Excursion to Elsewhere: Art Transformer III Opens New Perspectives

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the exhibition Project Art Transformer III – Elsewhere will open at kultur.lokal.fuerth. From 6 PM, visual art, literature, and community work processes will intersect in an exhibition that dissolves boundaries between disciplines, perceptions, and forms of expression.

Artistic Exchange as a Starting Point

The Art Transformer project has been bringing together artists and cultural creators from different fields since 2012. For the third gathering, a total of 16 participants from literature and visual arts were randomly assigned into pairs. Each group drew inspiration from the partner's existing works and developed new pieces on the theme of Elsewhere.

Images, Installations, and Audible Texts

The exhibition combines visual artwork with literary imagination. Texts developed alongside the displayed images and installations can be listened to via QR codes. Headphones offer an additional level of perception: colors, shapes, materials, and spatial effects enter into a dialogue with language, sound, and inner images.

Participation Offers and Cultural Education

The art experience is not only aimed at observing visitors. Transformative readings, creative workshops, and a permanently set-up participation table invite attendees to develop their own texts and works. The exhibition thus becomes an open space for aesthetic experience, cultural education, and collective reflection on the boundaries of one's own artistic direction.

An Exhibition as a Space for Thought and Experience

Elsewhere begins where familiar categories are no longer sufficient. The curation of the project focuses on encounters, mutual inspiration, and the productive exchange between painting, installation, literature, and performative formats. The result is not a static presentation, but a vibrant process in which artworks, voices, and audience contributions expand one another.

Conclusion: Elsewhere Begins in the Heart of Fürth

The vernissage promises an open, sensory, and dialogical exhibition atmosphere. Those seeking new access to contemporary art, literature, and collective creativity will experience an evening full of perspective shifts at kultur.lokal.fuerth. The visit opens up an art experience that invites personal reflection and participation.
