A Trip to Elsewhere: The Finissage of the Project Art Transformer's III in Fürth

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Project Art Transformer invites you to the finissage of its exhibition Elsewhere at kultur.lokal.fürth. Starting at 7 PM, the Wandel-Reading connects visual art and literature for a unique art experience. Admission is free.

Art between Perspective Shift and Encounter

Elsewhere begins where familiar boundaries end: beyond one's own artistic direction, habitual perception, and established working methods. For the third Art Transformer gathering, a total of 16 artists and cultural creators from literature and visual arts came together. In randomly selected pairs, they developed new works inspired by the existing pieces of their respective partners.

Visual Art Meets Literature

The exhibition shows how new forms, images, texts, and installations arise from artistic exchange. The Wandel-Reading guides through this connection of visual and verbal design. Texts created for the exhibited images and installations can be listened to via QR codes. Headphones provide an additional acoustic layer to the experience of the works.

An Open Space for Cultural Education

The Project Art Transformer started in 2012 with the aim of bringing together artists and cultural creators from different fields to develop new works through mutual inspiration. The kultur.lokal.fürth offers a low-threshold exhibition space in the heart of the city center. In addition to the exhibition, Wandel-Readings, workshops, and a permanently accessible participation table are part of the program. This expands the aesthetic experience with personal creative impulses and immediate encounters.

The Exhibition Atmosphere of Elsewhere

The presentation thrives on the interplay between image, installation, text, and voice. Different materials, forms, and artistic signatures enter into a dialogue. The exhibition invites you to leave familiar categories behind and realign your own perception. The finissage particularly intensifies this process: The works are not only observed but are made newly readable through language, sound, and shared experience.

Conclusion: A Final Evening Full of Art and Encounter

The finissage of Art Transformer III - Elsewhere awaits visitors with a special combination of exhibition, literature, and shared viewing of works. The Wandel-Reading opens new access to the created works and makes the creative exchange of the 16 participants directly experienceable. Those who want to experience contemporary art, cultural education, and interdisciplinary projects in an open atmosphere should not miss this evening at kultur.lokal.fürth.
