White Christmas Gala Concert: Fürth musically tunes into Christmas
On November 27, 2026, the large hall of the Fürth City Hall will transform into a festive sound world. The White Christmas Gala Concert combines big band sound, symphonic strings, choir, and soloists for an atmospheric evening full of Christmas classics and modern winter hits.
When Christmas receives orchestral brilliance
The METROPOL Philharmonic Big Band presents, in collaboration with SES Special Event Service, an elaborately arranged concert experience. The sound of bells, timpani and trumpets meets grooving rhythms, a string orchestra, and a resonant choir. Unique arrangements of well-known melodies create a musical bridge between festive classical music, big band energy and modern winter sounds.
Big Band, String Orchestra, and Choir on One Stage
With more than 70 musicians, the METROPOL Philharmonic Big Band is one of the major crossover formations in Franconia. Classical orchestration, precise synchronization, and powerful sound merge with the stage performance of brilliant soloists. Under the direction of Timm Freyer, a multifaceted conducting style emerges, shifting between reflective moments, swinging dynamics, and grand concert gestures.
Goosebump Moments with Light and Moderation
A specially developed light concept accompanies the musical dramaturgy and immerses the city hall in a wintry glow. Charming moderation and reflective stories guide the evening, while well-known melodies invite dreaming, dancing, and singing along. This creates a warm live atmosphere that brings together families, friend circles, and all lovers of festive concert music.
Conclusion: The Musical Advent Kick-off in Fürth
The White Christmas Gala Concert promises an emotional concert experience with a large cast, festive sound, and an audience mood between meditative listening and exuberant Christmas joy. Those wanting to start the Advent season with orchestral strength and a brilliant stage atmosphere should experience this evening live in the Fürth City Hall.
