Christmas Open Mic Magic at the Kaltscher Gallery

On Sunday, November 29, 2026, the Kaltscher Gallery in Fürth will transform into an open stage for musical discoveries starting at 8 PM. During the Christmas Edition of Sing in open Mic, spontaneous stage moments, festive atmosphere, and the special intimacy of a small event space come together.

A Stage for Special Voices for Over 15 Years

SING-IN has been hosted on various stages for more than 15 years and has established itself as the region's open mic format. The event provides newcomers and novices a space for their first steps in front of an audience, serves experienced musicians as a place for experimentation, and frequently becomes a stop for bigger names.

Martti Mäkkelä and Jan Bratenstein Host the Evening

The moderation and selection of acts is taken care of by Martti Mäkkelä and Jan Bratenstein, two well-known musical figures in the region. Their role combines curation, stage performance, and direct contact with the audience. This results in a varied program where different voices, genres, and live ideas intersect.

Live Atmosphere Between Acoustic and Advent

The experimental stage of the event gallery provides the perfect setting for an evening filled with immediate audience atmosphere. Small gestures, the sound of individual instruments, and the concentrated acoustics of an intimate room bring the music to the forefront. A festive note is added for the Christmas Edition: The Kaltscher team welcomes the audience with a musical HoHoHo for the first Advent.

An Evening for Discoveries

Open Mic thrives on the synchronization between stage and hall. Each performance can open up a new tone, a surprising arrangement, or a spontaneous musical dialogue. Those wanting to discover local talents, experience familiar faces in unfamiliar roles, or become part of an open concert culture will find a special evening here.

Conclusion: Fürth Experiences Music Without a Safety Net

Sing in open Mic – Christmas Edition combines Advent spirit with musical openness. Visitors can expect an approachable concert experience with changing acts, personal moderation, and the thrill of the unexpected. Anyone wanting to experience live music up close should not miss this special open mic evening at the Kaltscher Gallery.
