Heißmann & Rassau bring laughter to Fürth – and BR television is watching
When Volker Heißmann and Martin Rassau take the stage of the Comödie Fürth, no diaphragm stays idle for long. On October 12, 2026, the audience will experience a TV recording of their sketch program – live, direct, and with the special tension of an evening where every punchline must also work for television.
Sketch comedy with Franconian temperament
Heißmann & Rassau have stood for pointed Franconian humor, distinctive characters, and stage chemistry that functions from the first glance to the last reaction for decades. Their style combines stand-up elements, classic folk theater, slapstick, and rapid wordplay. The timing is precise, the role distribution is clear, and the interaction between the two comedians provides plenty of material for spontaneous audience reactions.
When a fit of laughter becomes a television moment
The Comödie Fürth has been the artistic home of Volker Heißmann and Martin Rassau for years. The Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation regularly records productions from this venue. At this event, the audience therefore experiences not just a comedy show but also the special magic of a TV recording: concentrated stage technology, bright spotlight, precise punchlines, and shared laughter while looking at the camera.
Experience, awards, and genuine stage presence
The duo is one of the defining voices of the Franconian comedy scene. Heißmann and Rassau became known, among other things, as Waltraud and Mariechen, as well as through their regular appearances on Bavarian Broadcasting and at Fastnacht in Franken. Their honors include the Bavarian Dialect Prize, the Bavarian Order of Merit, and the Karl-Valentin Order. This experience is reflected in their precise timing, clear character work, and a stage presence that effortlessly reaches large halls.
An evening between laughter muscle training and camera light
The event starts at 19:30, with doors opening at 18:30. For attendees: those who sit in the hall can become part of the TV image. This makes the evening special – every audience reaction, every laugh, and every enthusiastic applause belongs to the atmosphere of this recording.
Conclusion: Experience comedy live and maybe rediscover it on television
Heißmann & Rassau combine Franconian wordplay, slapstick, and professional comedy craftsmanship into a laughter experience with television factor. Those who want to experience the two comedians not just on screen but right in front of their own row of seats can secure their place at the Comödie Fürth on October 12, 2026.
